A wonderful full-time nanny role has become available from June/July 2023, working for an active family of four who enjoys being out and about in the fresh air. They live in a recently refurbished house in St Albans, Hertfordshire. They are looking for an outgoing, sociable, reliable, and fun nanny to become part of their happy family.
You will be looking after an energetic and sociable little girl aged four and her younger brother aged two. They are active children and enjoy going swimming, to the farm, and playing tennis. The little girl attends full-time school and her brother will be starting nursery three days each week from September.
The hours will be Monday to Friday, either 06.30-17.30 or 07.00-18.00.
Although the parents work from home regularly, they have very busy jobs and are looking for a dedicated nanny who would like to take sole charge of their children. To help with the school runs and to get to activities, you must be a careful and confident driver with a clean license. There is a car available to use while on duty.
Along with full personal care of the children, as the family employs a weekly cleaner, this role will be nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated. As well as keeping all areas the children use organized and tidy (kitchen, children’s bedrooms, children’s bathroom, playroom, etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of the children’s laundry.
You will also provide the children with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day (home cooked from scratch as often as possible). Collecting dry cleaning, post office trips, and wrapping presents for parties, etc would also be appreciated.
During term time, there will probably be a little downtime in the day. The family has a home gym which you will be welcome to use, as long as you are available if the children need care.

The family lives in the South Bank area of York, with lots of activities close by within walking distance. The Children are very happy and enjoy lots of activities, in particular, the eldest loves crafting and imaginative play, so a Nanny who can provide these things would be perfect.
The children attend Nursery so the Nanny would be required to pick them up from there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays which is a 4-minute walk from their house, No driving is required. Both girls are dairy-free.
